 GuyFromOH: I can get used to metric measurments at the store, but I just can't get a feel for Celsius vs Fahrenheit, I know what it's going to feel like with the weatherman says 72 degrees F, but if he says something like 23C, I have no idea what to expect. Celsius is alot better in my opinion because 0 is a good starting point. Basically, 0 degrees is reeeeally cold, freazing temperature is below 0, 10 is cold, 20 is warm, 30 is hot, 40 is insanely hot. 40 degrees celcius is about 96 or 100 degrees faranheit I think. We use kilometres, people use centimetres but I measure peoples height in Feet and inches just because I like the sound of Six Foot Four more than One Hundred and something centimetres. posted by hungarian kid |

Maybe Americans got more people, but in fact, GB is a little older than America, and so is its language. But you Americans shouldn't really stress yourselves about the bad and stupid Britts, because you should first know how to speak your degenerated language before you start opening your mouths. The other thing is, although America has more people than Great Britain, at least most Britts can point out Japan on a map, most Americans actually wouldn't know that, and if you ask an American where Nigeria is, you'll have no idea. For some reason I asked a couple of Britts where Louisiana was, and what the biggest river in the USA was called, most knew, which actually was a shocking surprise to me. posted by JP |

pssh, why even bother looking at a car from another country, why even learn about another country, its not like they matter. what you need is a giant, monstrous, gas sucking, SUV! like the ones made here in the US, with 500 horsepower and enough room in it the school district will be calling you to replace the "short bus." gas prices are high you say? well no need to worry, you get 13 miles per gallon, now that's a lot! especially when your tank can hold 60 gallons! that's a long trip right there! so forget about those cars from over seas in west and east america, all we need to know and have is right here!
