 sangu: on a more serious note, wth is the short bus? i hear it being used all the time, but i don't know what it means that's the bus that picks up the less fortunate children who have some type of handicap...whether it be mental or physical. ie: children in wheelchairs posted by allone |

Being a scientist, the metric/imperial thing is really a pain in the ass. All the old guys I work with use imperial, but most of the younger people do use SI for basically everything. Those old guys are corrupting us though. And though metric certainly beats imperial, centigrade (celsius) is junk. If America ever switches, we should use Kelvin. Also, what's the deal with the kilogram being the standard unit of mass rather than the gram. How dumb is that? posted by Bill G |
