Europe vs China


Well, Europe is on it's way to surpassing the US as far as satellites and space probes. However, I am not aware of any detailed program for them to go to the moon. I think China feels they really have to proove themselves, and they want to proove themselves better than other countries. Thus, I think they will race to get to the moon and perhaps try to get to Mars in person...

In the book 2010 by A. C. Clarke, China beat the US to Europa in person I believe...

That's a cool site! Japan contributes alot of research and technology into satellites, probes, etc. And they likely have some satellites of their own up there... However, I don't think they have any plans for manned exploration right now... They do certainly have alot of plans for space hotels and the like. Still more theory than reality but they have much of it worked out, or at least a couple of japanese scientists/dreamers do...
