 knn: No, let me make this clear. Hitler himself told THAT HE IS A CHRISTIAN. But 'youarecrazy' has also presented a quote that says that Hitler belived that Christianity was a deliberate lie . youarecrazy: The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity. Quite apparently he was merely using the Christian faith to his own purposes, without really believing in any of the teachings. I can see how you (knn) say that just by saying Hitler did things that conflicted with the teachings of Xianity does not make him "un-Christian." But here is a quote from Hitler that directly conflicts with what he has said beforehand. But actually we don't know whether Hitler meant Christianity itself or "umanmade Christianity" or "Christianity as it is now". It's the same thing when I am posting: "Christianity is the greatest cause of pain and suffer in the last century". Doesn't make me less Christian. Or "Islam in it's current form is despicable". Doesn't make me less of a Muslim. It may interest you, that Hitler also said: The decisive falsification of Jesus' doctrine was the work of St.Paul. He gave himself to this work... for the purposes of personal exploitation... Didn't the world see, carried on right into the Middle Ages, the same old system of martyrs, tortures, faggots? . So in other words: yes, Hitler is a true Christian, but he is sceptical of the humanmade form of Christianity (= all the doctrines, churches...). I think I could then agree to call Hitler the "true Christian who fights in the name of Jesus but who condemns the organization called church and what sick people make out of it". hitler was a bit ridiculous though as we all know... if you hate jews, you hate jesus. i know some christians are old school and don't understand that he was jewish...hitler took his mental issues with it way too far. he was an appauling christian not only for the acts he commited physically, but for the mental lack of connection between hating jews and jesus being jewish. after all. any second coming/the original jesus wouldve been in those concentration camps along with everyone else. how could he ever defend that, and be a good christian. posted by sam1986 |
