So, I'm not sure if this is true. I though Cuba And america were enemys? Specialy after Fidel accused Bush of plotting against him. just for poor people who need medical attention

 He's demonstrating that he's better than bush - which is pretty much what the rest of the article says. He's adopting the higher ground, by offering aid to the very country which seeks to destroy him. He's showing that retaliation is not the only answer. It could be a very noble gesture or it could be a way to rub Bush's nose in it - depends on your point of view. Either way, it will gain him support. posted by Marl64 |

i think he is saying that if people want to be refugees from america he will take them in. kinda messed up if you ask me. we have been getting cuban refugees for long long time now. posted by Agent Zero |
