»Not the best choice for the Job«

Dunno if you'e ever seen a feature called "Talking Movies" presented by a Guy called "Tom Brook".

Well he reviews films. He gives "on the spot reports"

But Tom has a very pronounced Lisp.

Far be it for me to poke fun at someone for such a thing, but I have to wonder if he's really the best man for the job with reports such as

"Theldom hath the thinema induthtry theen thuch a thelection of thtars ath are prethent in thith producthion"

I remember him doing on the spot reports for Barry Norman, the thing i noticed most about him was his amazing knack of putting me to sleep he was soooo boring, he always turned up looking like your maths teacher to film premiers...they musta wondered who the hell this doofus was!

I for one

Well movie critics or reviewers should generally hold a strong literate way of talking that would keep you interested. You don't employ someone with a lisp, you employ someone with a distinctive voice.
