 SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A jury acquitted
Michael Jackson on Monday of molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor at his Neverland ranch, vindicating the pop star who insisted he was the victim of mother-and-son con artists and a prosecutor with a vendetta. Jurors also acquitted him of conspiring to imprison his accuser and the boy's family at the storybook estate — a huge legal victory but one that may do little to improve his bizarre image. SANTA MARIA, California (CNN) -- A California jury found pop superstar Michael Jackson not guilty Monday of all charges in his child-molestation trial.
The jury deliberated about 32 hours before reaching its decision. A number of Jackson's family members accompanied him to the courthouse to hear the verdict. If you have any evidence, then why didn't you bring it up in the court? IT'S NOT A CRIME to sleep with young boys in 1 bed. What now has to be done, is to put the mother into prison for conning. Let's not forget, that she commited welfare fraud and fabricated a story about being kidnapped on the Neverland Ranch (Michael Jackson's home) although she left the ranch for getting a beauty body wax. Give me break. The veteran defense lawyer even got the accuser to contradict himself in front of jurors, and caught the accuser's brother in a lie involving an adult magazine that he claimed the singer showed him. Time and again, the defense team found effective weak spots in Sneddon's witnesses and presented their own witnesses to cast doubt on key details. posted by knn |

the facts are still against jackson...this isnt the first time he has been on trial for this...so this one or the last one was true...think about it.you stop being biased and look...if a man is on trial more than once ofr the same crime he is guilty of something posted by Agent Zero |

i know what you are saying, but also think about this...as a parent, would you allow your child to hang out with someone who has had these charges against him? that is, unless you know that later on you could take him to court and get a large amount of money from him by accusing him of doing things that he has been accused of in the past... im just saying this as something to think about. i really have not followed this case at all and do not know all (well, hardly any) facts to it at all. and it looks like the defense took this position to help with their side...since she has been in trouble before for fraud. posted by allone |

 Agent Zero: this isnt the first time he has been on trial for this... So if a rumour spread about someone is spread more than once or to more than one school, it's true? You have to consider how easy it'd be for parents to use past allegations against him, he no doubt comes on as a weird guy.. but that doesn't mean he's a child molester. It's just assuming something, like someone's a Nazi because they're German, rather then looking at the facts you just agree with an easier alternative. "He's weird, and more than one person has said he's done it, he must of then." I wouldn't want to decide whether or not Jackson is guilty. But,... look at him,... he is a wreck! The people who should be charged are his parents; for selling their little kid to the public, denying him a childhood and thus ruining his life. posted by tozy |

martha stewart i'm sure had a paper trail to convict her, it's much harder in these type of cases where it's one person's word against another I just find it funny that before the not guilty verdict that no one knew whether he was guilty or not and now that the jury decided so, everyone is for sure  posted by The ONEder Man |
