I was thinking about byuing a laptop... Can be Microsoft...can be Apple.. With a budget of aprox. 2.0000$ I was thinking about maybe getting a Dell Inspirion.. and then i thought maybe i would like to try using X OS... So the PowerBook is maybe what I think might suit me most... I am mainly going to use it in school and stuff... But since I don't know much about Laptop computers I just thought maybe someone here does... posted by Pawnatron |

are you going to be taking advantage of the fact that its a laptop? i mean, are you going to be bringing along with you to different places to use? i was thinking of getting one, but decided on a normal desktop, since i would never really bring it anywhere, not really take advantage of the size, for the same or even better technology you wouldnt pay as much, and they are easier/cheaper to upgrade and so on. i think that you should really only get a laptop if you NEED something that small that you can carry along with you. but that's just me... posted by allone |

Pawnatron: well..I have a desktop...
But I wanted to have a laptop to take to school...and places... It's a very expensive convenience. And you have to get a pretty good one, especially considering how quickly outdated computers become when you don't/can't upgrade them. posted by hungarian kid |
