Okay, stay with me here, she's kind of a cerebral babe, but she is known in financial circles as the "Money Honey." (KNN, this will get you a lot of traffic from the stock market community.) Maria Bartiromo is a financial reporter for CNBC and is seen on CNBC Asia and CNBC Europe as well. She was born on September 11 (!), 1967, in Brooklyn NY. Maria graduated from NYU with a degree in Journalism and at one point wanted to cohost "Live with Regis and [whoever]" when Kathy Lee Gifford left, but Kelly Ripa got the job. In addition, Maria was the first person to report live daily from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, and now she has her own show called "After Hours" where she interviews rich old men. She looks to me like one of those women from ancient Roman paintings. This makes sense because she's Italian. What do you think? Yeah I used to watch Maria all the time, every day; I even read her book Use the News. For a while it seemed like she was talking thorugh the TV just to me, and it sounded like she was saying "GET THE KNIFE! KILL! KILL!" posted by holy_of_holies |
