»Cockpit Visits«

Did anyone here ever get to go up into the cockpit on airliners when you were a kid?
Because when I was younger, my mom used to ask the flight attendants if I could visit the pilots, and they would take me up there to check it out. It was cool, and then they would give me plastic "wings" to pin on my shirt.

Wouldn't happen now for obvious reasons.
