 No, all these names are crap. Name your band "A" or "It" or "The" or "Them" or "1" or anything equally short. That way they cannot find you in p2p networks and you earn more money. However I am not completely sure, that being invisible in p2p networks is a good or a bad thing. What do you think? posted by knn |

I for one wouldn't name my band that because it's not searchable...there's a band in my town called Girls on Film, and when I search for them on Google, all I get is Duran Duran ("Girls on Film" is a Duran Duran song)! I can't imagine trying to find A or 1 or whatever...it would be impossible. posted by holy_of_holies |

What do you think? I would say bad because evertime my friend tells me the name of a band the first thing I do is download like ten songs, if I really like it then I usually buy the album (which is an album I would not have bought before) And without P2P you have to rely only on MTV or much music for you'r publicity and they play eighty percent rap/pop shit. posted by Kupov |
