 I don't know about people talking in this 'for schizzle' speech, but I do know about people who think they are cool seeming to have power. Basically I think there are certain people when you are at school who have overbearing personalities and are generally negative about things. You can bet you'll be see these same people working in a supermarket (if they're not too drugged up) while you are at university with all the opportunities in the world before you. - Don't tell them that. I'ts more like... certain authority to boss people around. Uh. You really didn't need to add, "which is why they have power." ... because that's kind of what I said already. 
Maybe this is more direct: The only reason they have power is because you let them have power over you. Or, as you said, give them the 'certain authority to boss people around.' In my eyes, I hold more power than they do.

 so you see them as an empty shell, fooling people into thinking they have power. Why would, then, people even think they have power? My point is, it may be true for you and me, but not always. To us, it's a supposed, meaningless "power". To some, it's not; it's actually power to them. It just depends on perspective. Whatever. The ability or official capacity to exercise control; authority.

Yesterday a friend of mine referred to someone as a "winner". He then said that it basically meant "tosser" (with the added bonus that the person being insulted is not likely to throw a punch if he overhears you calling him it).
