»I don't like Bush but sometimes I kind of feel sorry for him«

I am Russian and I care too. Even if I wished not to, that'd be impossible. America is big and important and influential enough to meddle with everything in this world. And not exactly in a way that makes people happy I'm afraid. Just look at this forum - that's a typical example, 2 to 10. I'd say that is more or less like all over the world. There must be a reason for that, wouldn't you agree, Zero? I mean, so many people must have at least a tiny reason. And wow are they not given plenty.
I don't like Bush but sometimes I kind of feel sorry for him. So much negative stuff about America and himself, must be pretty hard to bear; but then I always wonder: does he have any idea what most people think? does a thought ever enter his head that he might be wrong? hmm

if he can't bear the fact that some people don't like him, he shouldn't be president Hmmm . He shouldn't take stuff too personally, I mean, most of the blame for the things that are going wrong in America are going to be put on the president's shoulders, that's usually the way it is Peh , and if he can't handle it, tough luck 3Tooth.
the same goes for celebrities. hey, there's always a price for being famous Cool.

taking things personally is not exactly what I meant. Sure if he would take them personally it would be at least stupid. You have to be pretty tough to be a president, especially of such a country. Smile What I meant is that I am not sure he is able of considering any other point of view than the one he follows. If he errs, is he able to admit that? Or with all the pollution theme, why does he think that money earned now are more important than health of the citizens in his own country? Honestly, I sometimes wonder how such a man could become a president. The only idea I have is that he was made a president, by somebody who needed such a guy, ruling as being told. But that is already close to conspiracy theories I suppose. Shocked
