Look at the Vietnam war, America lost 57,702 men to death and accomplished nothing, the Australian troupes were given a name by the Viet Cong that mean "phantom ghost or something. Australia sent 7,672 and lost 520, instead of charging blindly they used tactics while the Americans mindlessly tipped napalm into forests.

Nixons approach to getting American soldiers out of Vietnam -
"we'll just train the South Vietnamese in U.S. army tactis, the same army tactics that have done shit compared to Viet Cong's guerilla tactics."

North Vietnams/Viet Congs 300 000 soldiers versus the United States 543,400 and South Vietnams 1,048,000, yet South Vietnam was still overcome with communism.
