Kupov: Yeah but you can have pale asian skin and look great and daek asian skin and look great but if you go to pale with your white skin... I beg to differ, pale dark skin can look very bad, if it's pastey ofcourse. My skins supposed to be a medium brown, but there's hardly any sun where I live so it's gotten to a pale brown that I'm not too fond of, but it seems to work for other people. I'm starting to get a European/Icelandic sort of pale, heh it's startin to look alright. posted by hungarian kid |

The ONEder Man: Kupov: Tans are actually very bad for your skin in general, wrong, ever heard of vitamin D from the sun? Ahem, tans have nothing to do with vitamin D. Sun is good, tans are bad. For vitamin D you need only a few minutes in the sun. posted by knn |

Where I live in Florida there is a great deal of sunshine, yet you still will find people baking themselves in tanning salons, which is stupid and ridiculous...I tend to favor sunblock, hats, and sunglasses, especially in the summer when the sun is at its highest, because as you can see from this picture I burn quite easily... in-my-opinion.org… posted by holy_of_holies |

knn: Sun is good, tans are bad. wrong again, they are both good i thought we all knew what tans are for? melanin makes you darker and protects the skin more by absorbing uv rays? maybe not burns are bad, fake baking is suposably more harmful than the occasional burn. but a regular tan is not bad posted by The ONEder Man |
