 Well watching Sin city for the second time at a freidns house and i noticed something on Kevin (creepy super swesome cannibal whore villain played by elligah woods) was wearing a pair of black converse shoes as well as Dwight (i think that's his name) had a pair of red converse shoes. I only noticed because i happened to be wearing a pair at the time. I robot also featured converse adds but it was more in the open where Will Smith actually receives a pair of converse shoes and begins to talk about them. I mention this because most people probably miss it unlike the massive amounts of coke advertisments and subway Etc... a: I bet their business isn't going very well if they have to advertise this much No the opposite of that would be true, Converse now have enough money to advertise in big name films which i can imagine cost a lot. Also you do not often see Nike except in basketball commercials and movies and converse are far superior basketball shoes
