Seriously, being optimistic rather than pessimistic is going to add 43 more years to my life?

Sunday, May 30, 2060

or, according to the other site,

You're pretty average when it comes to how you live...
And how you'll die as well.

Hmm, the way they put it... I want immediately a huge bad habit!

By the way, I will die aged 79 according to both sites! Am I that predictable White laugh ?

And will you be bored without us! Can you imagine, IMO.org without the lively personality of knn? Though he might be an immortal being as well, huh.

It's nice to know you will live long, but to be more serious in this gruesome thread, how much fun do you think it is to live and see all your friends die?

Well, if you are committed to living long or being immortal, you would have to develop a rather strong fortitude again the emotional pain from the death of others. You would have to accept it as a cycle of live and make new friends and attachments. Or live a solitary life if you don't have that kind of fortitude.

It would be hard for the 1st generation or 2, but if you were really committed to living for forever and continuing to grow, you would have to learn to deal with loss well.

Who wants to live forever?

Well, if you would be one immortal being amongst mortals, that would be hard... it seems to me that hwoever hard you learn to not develop any deep feelings, every now and then you might meet somebody where you just won't be able to help it... So the only way is to live alone, but what it the point of being immortal than?

Are we going offtopic or what?

Well, since we our exploring an imaginary concept at this point, immortality, I would reference the material on the tv show Highlander. They deal with this issue often.

If a relationship ends painfully(death) then the immortal may spend 50+yrs alone. Some immortals become cold and begin to just use people for their carnal needs.

I think there are those immortals who would continue to feel the pain, but also continue to adjust and move on.
