 i have had this conversation quite often over the past week or so...my new friends say football and mean soccer, and i say football and mean...well...football (american) we came to an agreement though...since they are in america the word 'football' is to be used to describe american football and soccer will be used to describe their football

Yep...that's Brian when he played for Colorado University. He transferred to my alma mater, UW, when Colorado was caught-up in various sex scandals. One was about a female kicker who was sexually assualted (I know, a. ) and the other was that potential recruits were offered alcohol and hookers to come to CU. Pathetic.
Oh, BTW, Brian was not involved in either case...he left because he felt the program was deteriorating and wanted to play for a program that was more "morally sound." Plus, being that he's from Milwaukee, it didn't hurt that UW was so close. posted by GP |
