nope, as a matter of fact i wore a manchester united jersey the other day and they thought it was cool that i had an english football jersey, even though they don't like the team or the players...they say it has become too commercialized.

Yep...that's Brian when he played for Colorado University. He transferred to my alma mater, UW, when Colorado was caught-up in various sex scandals. One was about a female kicker who was sexually assualted (I know, a. White laugh) and the other was that potential recruits were offered alcohol and hookers to come to CU. Pathetic.

Oh, BTW, Brian was not involved in either case...he left because he felt the program was deteriorating and wanted to play for a program that was more "morally sound." Plus, being that he's from Milwaukee, it didn't hurt that UW was so close.

So is Brian the best football player in the U.S. in your opinion right now, GP?

Actually, no he's not. He's in the top tier of college football players, but he's not the best. That distiction would go to USC's Reggie Bush or Texas' Vince Young.

I think football is football and american football is american football.
"Football" should not be used to describe "american football" because it has not much to do with feet.
