I think you have persuaded me to give them another go, and no, i have'nt seen the films even though i have heard they are pretty good even if you know nothing about Harry P. To be honest i think the difference between the American and Uk versions of the book are slight and just down to the way things are phrased to you guys to avoid confusion on some of our sayings. I must say i have been tempted to watch this new 'Prisoner' Potter film because 1: it is supposed to much darker 2: It has Gary Oldman in it who i consider one of the best actors in the world posted by Crossfade |

AGREED. He's the man. Or, the undead. Whatever. Emma Thompson should be a stitch as Professor Trelawney, as well. Her ex (Branagh) was fabulous in the last film. I also love Maggie Smith's Professor McGonagall. My favourite actor in the HP films plays probably my favourite character in the books: Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) is just brilliant! But then, how can you not love Hans Gruber, and the Sheriff of Nottingham (even though the rest of that film was pretty awful)? Crossfade, I'd love to talk with you more about the movie, if you do decide to see it! ...But I'm not going to see it til Saturday. (it comes out Friday here in the US, and I'm not dealing with the Friday Night cinema crowds!) posted by annaerullo |
