oh well there are a few problems with it, if they ban your username you have to re sign up and if they IP ban you, you have to go back to anonymous.org and put the URL back in, plus for some reason it logs you out a lot. But still its so cool. posted by Kupov |

LMFAO I'll never really need a proxy because I have a dynamic IP  but anyway...
Script based proxies (e.g. anonymouse.org or proxify.org) are quite poor for that kind of thing, because any admin (with sense) would block the custom user-agent strings and thus deny access from them. There are solutions to that though: HTTP or SOCKS Proxies - There are loads of free lists online! JAP -  JAP helps to keep your anonymity by routing through 2 proxies at once, the proxies are run by educational institutes or other high bandwidth organizations. It is theoretically faster than Tor but is ran mainly by organisations, the IP it proxifies through is mostly static (never changes) and it chains through only 2 servers. Tor -  Tor anonymises through chains of encrypted computers and it's mainly powered by home users (meaning it is slower than JAP but more secure and anonymous). Plus the IP it turns up as is random and changes with each connection without changing the user-agent (unless you want to). Even the users can't trace the connections because of the way they are routed and it acts like a peer-to-peer system of nodes that route connections randomly through each server. posted by nthdegree |

What about when only your user name was banned. You can still register a new name, but it shows up on the system when a user with another banned name logs in so it's a matter of time before you're banned again. I was banned for calling an admin Big Brother because he was complaining about something someone said that wasn't even out of line. Basically, I'd just like to mess with him for a last harrah. posted by Greco101 |

I was banned for calling an admin Big Brother because he was complaining about something someone said that wasn't even out of line. Basically, I'd just like to mess with him for a last harrah. Theres a site car site for honda preludes. preludeonline.com Its run by a bunch of kids. The kid who runs the site got upset that I was giving out knowledgeable information. I told him that you could make any car as fast as you want to make it and he claimed that you couldnt even get 300hp in a prelude. I told him if he wanted to argue about it I could put a LS1 motor in the car and it would kill his car and he banned me. One kid looked up my sons pictures on his photobucket and posted them on the site. Quite funny if you ask me. My son works at a bar so he has a bunch of pictures of some hmm less than half dressed girls on there to be more close minded for the younger kids but they wouldnt post them on there. lol Anyways the kids banned me. You can still get on it you use a different server. If you got banned from firefox then use internet explorer or net scape or aol. posted by olddude |
