here's a fact...anything that goes on your skin with the exception of steroid based creams for disease...ain't gonna do shit... your skin has evolved to keep out even the tiniest viruses and bacteria...it ain't gonna let in cream hence all these creams that say they'll make you look younger are total balls if you want better skin...start a better diet posted by the anomaly |

Last night I tried the cammomile home sauna: It was quite nice. Very relaxing. I think it will take more than one trial to say if it is actually useful. I have found hydration to be more important than diet in skin appearence. The more water I drink, the better my skin looks. Rumors about chcoloate and other foods causing acne are false. However, people who eat well balanced diets will have an over all more healthy appearance, because they are in fact, more healthy. One piece of advice I was given that makes sense is that you really should only use one brand of products on your skin. When the cosmetic companies test their products, they only do so with their own line. So if you are using a Neutrogena face wash and Oil of Olay moisturizer it could cause a chemical imbalance, damaging your skin. posted by Laraimaem |

I love it, when i 1st tried it, it made my normally bumpy skin look so smooth, like a baby's booty Laraimaem: I have found hydration to be more important than diet in skin appearence. Well, we'd eat 5 small meals and drink 10 glasses of water a day to have a good secretion, but i think to many ppl it's difficult to accomplish that when the boss only allows them one 30 minutes lunch break at a full-time job posted by a |

Laraimaem: I think it will take more than one trial to say if it is actually useful. What i do after about 30 minutes of hot steam is wash my face with very cold water, try it, maybe that way it'll be more affective for you too. The reason why i do that is b/c i think the warm air filled up with camomile opens up and cleans my pores, while the cold water closes them back. posted by a |

Do you wear makeup, A? If so, do you wash your face to remove the makeup/foundation, steam, than wash again? I washed my face, steamed, air dried, then applied moisturizer. Perhpas I could just try rinsing with cold water after steaming to close the pores again before applying the moisturizer. Also, how often do you do this? posted by Laraimaem |

I do this once a week, every Sunday morning after breakfast, thus no makeup, if i was wearing some on Saturday, i'd washed that off before going to sleep. After i steamed & washed my face with very cold water, i don't apply anything anymore, no moisturizer, no makeup, nothing, i just let my skin rest. posted by a |

a: Ok, i hope you'll get better results this time Oh, if I gave the impressions that I got less than satisfactory results, it was not my intention. I felt relaxed, my skin was some what smoother, and it was a pleasnt experience all around. I just feel you have to do anything more than once to have a valid opinion about how usefull/unusefull it is in the long run. posted by Laraimaem |
