SO its that time agaion for me to start a thread on B ball for the NCAA. lets get into it as i know only me and GP will probably even post in this thread. But i was watching the wooden classic today and noticed one thing...UW freaking rules, the have man handled every team they have played this year winning by a comfortable ammount. im proud of my dawgs. as for the rest of the top 25, number 1 duke bitch slapped number 2 texas today by 31 points! id say they took them behind the shed. anyone have any predictions for what the seaon is gonna look like. i think illinois is my favorite along with duke, UW and gonzaga this year. what do you think Gp? posted by Agent Zero |

Yeah, that game against Texas was ridiculous...I mean, talk about "deer in headlights." Yeesh. It's not like Duke is that much more talented than Texas...Texas has great talent but they just haven't played in the big games like Duke does almost every week. That's why the ACC is hands-down the best conference in college basketball...there are monumental games in that conference EVERY week. The other powers (Big 10, Big East, Pac-10) have, maybe, two or three huge games a month. As for the teams I like this year...well, it's really too early to tell. Teams typically don't start to mesh until after the New Year, so we'll have a more definate outlook then. As for right now, I've been impressed w/Duke, Gonzaga (That Morrison cat is the Truth), Oklahoma and Michigan State. My UW Badgers have looked pretty good but lost a tough one down at Wake Forest. They're extremely talented but extremely young (only 1 senior) and may be up and down until tourney time...but, if they can gel around then, watch out. posted by GP |

yeah man, that maryland upset on sunday was pretty awesome as well. i like to see upsets like that! that's why NCAA sports are so much better, the upsets. as for your badgers they will probably make it to the dance but wont go far, no offence. UW is still lookling good though posted by Agent Zero |

Actually, my Badgers have the ability and talent to go deep into the tourney. They've got 3 guys in the rotation above 6'10 and all of them can play...they can even step out and hit 3s. They've also got a lot of quickness and possess the ability of score in bunches...we're averaging around 80 points per game, that's alot for us! The only thing that concerns me is their youth/inexperience. I think that a lot of breakdowns on D and turnovers are being caused by this lack of experience. Hopefully, they can earn their stripes during the Big 10 season and be ready to go come tourney time. My prediction for them...uh, I'll say a 3rd place finish in the Big 10 and they'll go to Sweet 16. Oh, Zero...I saw something cool during the Depaul/Wake Forest game last night. Did you know that your UW Huskies have the longest current home winning streak? They must really put shit on lock-down when people come there to play. posted by GP |

Yeah, that's true, the fans are ruthless. The student section is so loud and there chants are hilarious...when the opisit team is being introduced. the students turn there back and when they announce the other team like...number 35 john doe...the students go...who cares...and then after the 2nd person the whole arena is doing it...its funny. yeah its a tough place to play. i believe your badgers will do good this year as well. posted by Agent Zero |
