So it's finally out, well it was out a weeks a go but I've only been bothered to write this now. I've been listening to it since I got it, digesting it, and it's not metal. It's industrial (if you were to put it in a genre,) and it incorporates some very nice dark industrial sounds mixed with the general Korn sounds, Munky does some very nice work on the guitar by himself since Brian 'Head' Welch has left. It's a strange Korn now, they're down one member and they've once again made a completely original album, very different from their last. Jon Davis sings very nicely in this album, he's really matured as a singer over the years. Fieldy and David work well for an industrial sound, and Munky's work is far better than expected. This album really isn't what a lot of people expected, it was obscure at first listen but it's really grown on me. It's Korn taking a new direction once again, but one they can be prolific in.
I can imagine a lot of people hating this album, but it hasn't ceased growing on me yet, and it's one of my favourites for the year.

The Bonus Disc is well worth extra dollars for the Limited Edition aswell. The B-sides are great, the remixes aren't any good though.

Well, since I have listened to Korn since I was like 11, and being almost 19 now, believe me when I say: This album sucks.

Heard the album. It's different from their other albums and that's a good thing. I really liked 'tearjerker' at the end of the album.

Yeah, KoRn still rock. What doesn't rock is that the CD has stupid cd protection on it so although I know for a fact that any tom, dick or harry can download mp3s of the album, for some reason it doesn't let me burn my own mp3s to put on my mp3 player - hmmph!
