»What Exactly Do DJs Do?«

ah, well if you have the equipment to edit out things and so on you could do it that way...however, i do not.

a lot of records (singles) that are released have multiple tracks of the same song on the record...remixes and so on. a lot of times, especially in the hip hop/rap genre, they have instrumentals and vocals. so there will be the original song, then just the music or instrumental, then just the vocals...you could play the vocals on top of another songs instrumental and so on..as long as they line up and all of that.

all you really need is 88mph. that's when the flux compacitor starts to work.

Pretty nice explanation you gave there allone. DJing is one of the most underrated professions ever, they don't get the recognition I deserve. You don't know how pissed I get whenever I'm praising Ferry Corsten's work for example and some dumbass says "But all he does is play records!".

By the way, I'm seeing Ferry Corsten spin live on June 7th. I'll post some pics afterwards.
