The defence maintained that his erection was an indication of acceptance, since it showed he was aroused by the womans advances. The Guy was a very religious man and maintained that he had no control over the way his body responded to her advances. Despite his erection, he did not consent to sex. The Court ruled that the Erection was an Automatic response to sexual stimulae and did not reflect the wishes of the Man. If a man doesnt want sex he wont get an erection even if you slap it with some lard!  Sexual arousal is what causes erections, how can a body do what the mind doesnt want it to do?
Unless he took a monster load of viagra before hand, he could be dead and still stand to attention!

As far as I can recall, the guy was one of these religious types who wanted to wait until after marriage before doing the nasty.- His claim was that she aroused primal instincts within him which conflicted with his belief system. Have you never had an erection at an inconvenient time? When you're about to get off the bus, just before your teacher asks you to stand at the front of the class, Trying to convince the moose at the party that you don't find her attractive. I wish I had your level of control. 
If women ever get the idea that we can control our bodies, it's all over for us. It's no longer "something that happens" but rather "something you want to happen" (and I'm not talking about an erection here - in fact, quite the opposite)

I know what your talking about but i still say the guy was full of it! Sure men get stiffies at daft times and sometimes we really don't need it standing to attention but the fact is we get them when we find a woman atractive and wouldnt mind playing 'hide the sausage' with them. I cant remember getting aroused about a woman i didn't fancy though, it just doesnt work if you don't 'want' to have sex with them. posted by Crossfade |
