It's actually very simply and it will spare you special "Skype Recorders" that didn't even work when I tried them. You will need
Go to volume control (usually in your windows tray area at the bottom right) -> Options -> Properties -> Playback -> Microphone -> Must be un-muted -> Options -> Properties -> Recording -> Stereo Mix (or a similar name) -> Select That's it. You just need to make sure that the mic is not muted (Skype seems to mute the mic by itself just after you established a connection with someone, so you need to manually unmute it). Now you can record your speech (and what the called person says) via a normal soundrecorder. posted by knn |

Maybe you tried not right *skype recorders* , most of them are buggy, it is. I use free SkypeCallRecorder(http://voipcallrecording.com/) and it works fine. wonder, what about noise and quallity with 2 mics scheme ? posted by fleokan |

The good Skype recorders that I can recommend from my own experience are SkypeCap for Windows and SkypeCap for Mac (www.skypecap.com). I have never had any problems with using them both on Mac and PC. Hope, it will help:) posted by Second Santa |
