Former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein sits in front of an Iraqi judge in Baghdad. Defence lawyers for Saddam Hussein said that the first court appearance of the ousted president was a farce in an illegal court and challenged the legitimacy of Iraq's judicial system which they said was preventing them from going to Baghdad.

The lawyer spoke yesterday on CNN and called the trial a "Scandal". 2 other experts agreed that this is a very bad starts for a fair trial

Saddam Hussein:
