Gaia can be about whatever you want it to be about o-O' depends on which forums you hang around in. It can be a dumb mind numbing experience or you can actually find literate people and have some good conversations. Depending on how hard you look and how hard you ignore the idiot population that surrounds it. =P you get much better at it over time. I must apologize for the idiotic amount of gaians that have visited your site. They had no reason to have come if their answer was not suitable enough to reply thoroughly to your question. Most likely the only true gaian that came here with the best answer to your questions was Moppy. It is true I must say, that gaia is alot like neopets and I am not the only one who knows that as well. But the thing that makes gaia so much different than neopets is that you have avatar people you are able to actually dress up in clothing with different hairstyles. Yes it's true many others have come here and said the same exact thing, and the only reason I am stating it again is that it is the truth. I don't expect alot of people to really understand or like gaia unless they truly signup and experience it for themselves. But even if they experience it many still won't like it because it is more directed towards a younger age group. I am 18 myself, but the only reason I tend to enjoy this site is because I still enjoy what little childhood I have left in my life before I become a true adult. But I am sorry, I'm getting offtopic a bit. Although gaia has not put up many interactive games quite yet except for it's fishing, it is still quite enjoyable. I can go on and on trying to explain why gaia is loved so much by the mass but it would take more than just one post for that. In truth, there are many many different reasons a variety of age groups and people get so addicted to gaia. You must truly experience it for yourself to know what that would be for you. I know what addicted me to the site is it's childish avatars and amount of members who enjoy anime/manga. I must say though, when my friend first got me to signup to the site I didn't believe it would be any fun because of all the bad things I've heard about it. But I'm not one to go with public opinions, only my own. So I did try it and I did like it, although half of gaia's members don't like newbs...but then again who does? All I'm really trying to say, is if you would like to truly know what gaia is really about try it for yourself. If not then that's your choice and no one can change that for you're the one who knows what you like and what's best for yourself. So I leave you with this, it is 5:24am over here and I have stayed up too long working on my website. I must leave you with these words of my own opinion, take it and answer it the way you want to. Yeah, the dressable avatars and the amount of users is cool. Although I personally prefer uploadable avatars. Yeah uploadable avatars a feck load better, except for the sizing! Can't you install a resizing program or something knn? I've seen other forums that have them! ok gaiaonline is an animee roleplaying community and it is quite fun because well actually i am a member of gaiaonline and to join all you have to do is just make your own username password and create your own person its really easy and they have guidlines to help but you do have to answer some other presonal questions and you can talk to people also so any more questions feel free to ask posted by the_blair_witch |
