Chii11: I am only 13 years old, although I am turning 14 next month. Everybody takes me very seriously on gaia. It all depends on how you act and what you say. Maybe they might not take you seriously because of what you say? I don't know. But I am much loved in the exchange and I love many in there. Some people are very nice and muy fun. ^^
But I don't like the greedy noobs who won't even TRY to change. "noobs" and "newbs" are different. I like "newbs", but I don't like "noobs". ¬_¬ Anyways, I guess it's because I can hold a debate very well and I usually win because I NEVER debate with someone unless I have a very good reason to and there's no way the person is right. Personally, I love to be proven wrong on something I believe. That way, I can learn from my mistakes and only good will come out of it. =3 You should join "The anti-pineapple pizza guild". You don't have to hate pineapple pizza to be in it. I actually love pineapple pizza and i'm the #1 mod. =P I went to the ED twice, when I was 13, tried to give my views on abortion or something. I typed correctly, except I didn't capitalize the letter 'i' in my sentences. Then someone said something about my just being a 13 year old, and they didn't agree with my opinion and insulted it, and I prefer to not debate at all if it can be helped. So I haven't really gone back there, nor do I post much as I don't see any good topics anywhere anymore, except perhaps in gaming. The only reason I'm on there is like you said, the great people, I've made some good friends. Oh yeah, and addiction. Except the new people...but if they come begging for the gold I do not have, if they want to be friends then I don't care. I have no idea how to respond to that guild suggestion, but thanks. Pineapple pizza is great. Since I don't post a lot anymore, I'm kinda out of fake money, which I need to get into a guild, unless it's free. Oh well.

knn: iklbug: If anyone maybe wants to take the time to go to Gaia as a guest (?) then just go to Forums and click ED (Extended Discussion). This is where some arguments and debates are taken out THEORETICALLY. I went there and it's also very low-level. Nothing compared to IMO. Well, I don't doubt your opinion then. I haven't been to the ED for a long time, and since I joined, Gaia has been turning into one gigantic, for lack of a better word, cesspool. posted by iklbug |

 so out of curiosity i went there to look around. and from what i saw...its a joke. i went to the extended discussion area to see topics such as "People are mean... ;(-o-)...", "Sex with Animals?", "I don't acknowledge you", "eyeliner", "Women's Rights? More Like... Women's Wrongs!", "High School Bathroom SeXXX" and "ATTN CREATIONISTS: Evolution is just a theory" to name a few. some of the topics look as though there might be an interesting discussion going on, so i started to read them to only be reminded of where i was...a childs forum. they hardly ever stay on topic, are quick to throw out insults and call names to anyone who has an opposing opinion (then others jump in with "damn, animegoddess1309 got burned!"), or they insult typos and dismiss the post entirely and focus on making fun of typos (and again others jump in with "damn myparentshateme076 is stupid"), and many more things. again, out of curiosity i wanted to see just how many members there are...of the 1,245,952 members 864,920 have less than 10 posts and haven't logged in in months 703,160 (as of now) have never posted a message. that still leaves a lot of active members. (damn) (and yes, i get very very bored while i am at work!) they really need some mods in there to keep things on topic and clean out all those wasted usernames and members who sign up and never post anything and all the useless garbage that is all over the place. but it looks like it is out of control. like a shit load of unsupervised kids are running their own town. posted by allone |
