allone: be the "first one on the block" with the coolest new anime clothes for their anime avatar?
maybe if there was some type of moderator (well it would have to be more than one...a whole hell of a lot more than one) or a way to not award people "gold" for off-topic posts or remarks people wouldnt do it so much? like if people got no gold at all for making an off-topic post, they would stop making them? or has it already gone to far? People on Gaia really over do it with the avatars. The pixelated outfits cost too much anyways. The problem is, one can get gold on Gaia by doing anything. All you have to do is click around, rate some art in the arena, post, vote on polls, anything, and you get gold. There are a lot of mods out there, and most of them do their job the best they can, there's just so much work for them. Constant PMs of off topic or flat-out inappropriate threads are in their inboxes and such. So...yeah, it's already gone too far. posted by iklbug |

 iklbug: The reason I'm posting in this thread and this thread alone on IMO is for that reason. If I'm to go to any other thread on IMO I want to make sure I am not going to be called a 'dumbfuck' for posting my opinion, no matter how different from others. has anyone called you a dumbfuck in this thread? im still kinda new here and people are overall rather nice, there are some that are more...outspoken than others. but this site is in fact "in-my-opinion", and you are entitled to it. you can talk about anything, although there arent many threads that have content that can be compared to those at gaia. but there are stereotypes floating around here just aswell...stereotypes are everywhere you cant escape them, but you can rise above them and prove to people that you do not fit in the stereotype that you were branded with and people will listen. if you make a statement and someone disagrees with what you have said, we arent quick to call you a fucktard or "flame" on you for speaking your opinion. (as i have seen a lot of people on gaia do) we don't care if you don't capatalize your "i"s hell i don't capatilize anything, and we kan mispel anithing we want, as long as peeple still know what you are saying. above all, again this forum is called "in-my-opinion" and that's what it is about. your opinion. people don't always have to agree with you, but that's life, not everyone is going to agree with everything that you have to say. this place might even open your mind to some other popular views and opinions that you may have never even thought of. there are people here from all over. but you are still entitled to feel/think what you do and have every right to, that is as long as you arent trying to hurt someone intentionally...in my opinion. but take a look around in some of the threads, if you have a comment to make...make it, its ok. or if you have something to say and it doesnt fit in any thread that has already been made, make a new one. welcome to IMO. posted by allone |

It's not that great...All you do is chat to get gold and spend that gold on creating a better anime avi...simple as that...There is a wide veriety of clothing that your anime character can wear. different hats, gloves, shoes, and even socks are in this site...I only enjo going on there when i have nothing better to do or when I feel like saying hi to old friends.

I love Gaiaonline but my parents hate me going on there as my mother says there are petifiles... I have never met one but C'est La Vie. they tell me that I am forbiddden to go on but I still do though I have to be carefull.
