Lol, i also found this place cos gaia is down! It's good because there are loads of different people to talk to. There's hundreds of subjects you can immerse yourself in, or you can roleplay, or just have fun dressing up your avatar (the more you post, the more gold you get, and then you can buy clothes for your avatar). There are special events and things, and they've recently added a fishing game that's kinda fun. I'm getting into trading and selling personally! posted by fidele |

Personally, I'd have quit Gaia a long... long... long time ago. It was funny, but when it first hit alpha, everything worked fine. The servers went down maybe... Oh, once every OTHER month... Now... They go down daily... Why did they replace the working system with a piece of crap that refuses to even do so much as show it is online? That just doesn't make sense to me... On another note... Some more things people might find good about Gaia is that they just came out with the Gaia Hangout. You and another's avatar will be shown at the top of the screen and you can send quick messages back and forth...that's pretty cool/good/convenient, no? Plus, Gaia homes will be here...eventually. Sometimes it surprises me when I see like seven year olds, or even ten year olds on Gaia...because sometimes it's hard to go places on Gaia without seeing something about sex, which (I imagine) can be somewhat awkward for seven year olds...but oh wells. posted by iklbug |
