It is neither right or wrong. There is no reason why it should be immoral at all, except for some contorted religious reason. If you like it, do it. If you don't like it, don't do it. It's really that simple. posted by franciz |

Being a christian I don't think that masturbation in itself is a anything wrong and it can infact be healthy and useful. I do think however that it can lead to obsessive behaviour, unhealthy desires for more pleasure or never-to-be-realised fantisies if Porn is used. The fact that sexual fantasies or pornography are not required to masturbate would lead me to belive that it is ok to do. In saying that, not everyone feels the need to do it and abstaining for a few weeks or up to a month usually causes the desire to do it to subside. posted by Normski |
