It is neither right or wrong. There is no reason why it should be immoral at all, except for some contorted religious reason.
If you like it, do it. If you don't like it, don't do it. It's really that simple.

I am a male, and I think it's OK - for both girls and boys, but not too much. Not more than twice a month, IMHO.

Being a christian I don't think that masturbation in itself is a anything wrong and it can infact be healthy and useful. I do think however that it can lead to obsessive behaviour, unhealthy desires for more pleasure or never-to-be-realised fantisies if Porn is used. The fact that sexual fantasies or pornography are not required to masturbate would lead me to belive that it is ok to do. In saying that, not everyone feels the need to do it and abstaining for a few weeks or up to a month usually causes the desire to do it to subside.

In the bible it says you'll go to hell if you spill seed, i wish we knew if this was true or not, oh well i guess its completely up to you, i used to do it alot now not so much i try not to and when i do it now i feel crummy afterwards i hate doing it actually and am looking for something more meaningful.. hate it.. yep, that's masturbation for me in a nutshell.

I have good news! Nowhere in the Bible does it say you will go to hell if you "spill your seed." To be sure, if it did a whole lot of people would be in hell right now.

There is no Biblical reason to feel guilty about having sex with yourself.

I choose to believe you, though I can't believe my grade 9 teacher would give us false information, oh well he was a bit of an odd ball anyway. good news indeed and yea lots of people would be in hell right now i didn't even have to requote that its so obvious, well this is indeed good news funk it i am going to live the best life ever now and i encourage all of you to do the same!

What is it all about...

Whether you masterbate or have sex, you feel the same way.
When you masterbate you feel a certain way, and that's it.
When you have sex, there's a responsibility attached with what comes next.
Some people have sex, but then get an abortion, and continue having sex.
Naturally one thing leads to the next.
Some people crave sex more than others. And some not at all.
The question is...What do you want? Then it's up to you to answer it.

Yes it's tempting, addicting, and desirable.

Think about it. Without having what comes from sex no one would be able to have offspring, life would not continue on, so it had to be written in our code and be most desirable above all else in order for people to continue creating offspring, otherwise, who would?

Raising a family or a kid is hard and time consuming. Now, you don't have to have a farm of kids, but you can have a few and take care of them.

Raising a family is a test that teaches you about being responsible for more than just yourself. Allowing for you to grow and develop in new ways and gain added experience that will be needed if you are to continue on to other places/things/challenges/tasks in your journey after our stay here on this Earth has come to an end.

What earth life teaches you and I, is all about how to deal with anything that comes our way. That is the great challenge and the unique thing about our experience here on Earth.

This is the time to perform your labors, for the night of darkness comes when no man can perform anymore labors. How you deal with things in this lifetime/experience, will determine whether you are ready for more or not.

Earth life is an ultimate challenge, where anything could happen, and how you deal with the diversity of those challenges that come your way, will determine in part what you are made of. If you are born with only one good thing, it doesn't matter. Giving up on yourself, is ignorance. And ignorance feels like Hell/is Hell. Knowledge/light/truth/experience allows for you to continue on.

How many of you hate being stuck somewhere, stuck in a rut, stuck being pore, stuck and bored, stuck and waiting around, stuck and dying.

Forget all the crap that people tell you about going to hell, earth-life isn't over until it's over.

If everyone kills eachother here on Earth, then everyone gets to suffer and feel pain instead of joy and the good things that life has to offer. killing other humnas (out of hate/ignorance) that are here for the same reason that you are here, is Primitive.

What do you want your experience in life to be, while you are here? You can only do with what you have, and that in itself is a challenge and a test.

What do you want to have as an experience and remember when you die, and leave.
Do you want to remember that you gave up. Do you want to remember that you conquered your fears and you always gave life your best, even though you weren't the best. Do you want to feel confidence that you tried, even though you failed. Or do you want to feel Hell for giving up and not trying at all.

It feels so real, and presses down on you constantly, and you have to fight it to survive...

...Just don't fight the wrong fight.

Glassgirl I am new to this group but to answer your question about masterbating as to right or wrong. I think being alone in your room and playing with yourself is very good and makes you feel great. Some times I will masterbate and wet myself all over in bed but wake up feeling good maybe this will help you.
