After I watched god.tv... for so long, it seems that noone ever doubts that JESUS is the healer in those TV shows. People pray to be healed from illnesses BUT:

All this God/satan stuff makes my head spin, i think of 'satan' as the evil that men do, he/she/it doesnt exist as such, we have given a name to the monster inside ourselves. If satan existed would he take away your pain? releave the suffering? why would he do this when his 'job' according to man is to bring pain...unless he does it if you agree to sign over your soul? posted by Crossfade |

knn: to fool everybody that Jesus is doing it. Why? Sorry if I'm missing the point here, but why would that be in Satan's interest? posted by Marl64 |

Quote: Sorry if I'm missing the point here, but why would that be in Satan's interest? Because Satan is a liar and deceiver. Satan would looove it if people pray to Satan, thinking they pray to Jesus. Moreover maybe the illness is wanted by god, and Satan takes it away. posted by knn |

That is a funny theory, a bit like a South Park episode. They have jesus there who is also a talk show host. And they have a devil that is all tough and strong. They set up a boxing match and everyone including the priest bets his money on devil to win the match considering the frail jesus has no chance against the beefy devil. As the boxing match goes on, the devil (while being cheered by everyone) beats up poor jesus but then suddenly takes a dive. Everyone looses money, except one guy who bet on jesus. And that guy is the devil himself who laughs away with everyone’s money. posted by blueSky |

I watched Benny Hinn several times and cannot escape the idea that there are some demonic powers at work. This guy is so strange! "benny hinn" demonic ♣ And he works together with tbn.org... wich is also quite demonic, if you watch it. Their symbol is even a falling cross and a falling white dove. And Hinn also works with Paul Crouch and Jan Crouch, who is the craziest televangelist I have even seen (with her hair overdose). Also Suzanne Hinn (the wife of Benny Hinn) looks a bit satanistic. The word Anti-Christ is use as bad word, but would you like the world to be led by the pope, the Deputy Christ? Or by some other "Christ followers"? Maybe actually you would LIKE to see Christianity ended, that has caused so much murder, suffer and failed prophecies over the last 20 x 100 years (and more thousands, if you take Old Testament into consideration). Quote: Maybe actually you would LIKE to see Christianity ended, that has caused so much murder, suffer and failed prophecies over the last 20*100 years Maybe the Antichrist means not the end of the world but the end of Christianity as one of the most influential religions? Maybe that is what they are afraid of... Maybe he will start new times with new religion? Which won't make people wait till somebody who vaguely promisied to come comes? and will make them act here and now? If Bush is the Antichrist in the in-this-site-developed meaning of a turning point, he could well make people doubt Christianity even more... he is very religious and he doesn't exactly set a good example of what being a true Christian means, does he? I wouldn't like to see Christianity ended just because it has caused so much murder and failed hopes. It seems to me that it will slowly die out. It already becomes less and less influential. It leaves too many questions unanswered, and makes people wait too long. Wasting our time till somebody comes and saves our souls. posted by mymla |
