»I saw Harry Potter yesterday«

Well, to cut it short:
• Harry is the center of the movie
• Unsolvable situations are solved with wands and magical spells. The basic flaw underlying all fantasy novels

Was worth seeing though

It's about time for a cryptic review

I was pleasantly surprised.

Not a potter fan on the whole, but had a couple of spare hours (and the required bandwidth White laugh ) to take a chance.

(trying not to spoil it for others)

The thing with the thing that the girl wears, adds an interesting angle. I like films that explore this subject.

I think they worked it well, but expected a reference (of the same type) to the scene early in the film just before the bus arrives - the bush rustling moment.

I think that should make sense to those who've seen it without spoiling it for those who haven't. Shocked

It was either that, Shrek 2 or Spiderman 2. I saw Shrek 2 and Spiderman 2 and I'm praying for HP to be taken off so no one asks me to go see it again.

wating for the DVD

knn... DUH. Didn't you know that was what it was all about? Smile they're all like that -- IF you want to break it down that far.

Marl: have you not read the books, then? The thing with the thing she wears Wink is dealt with in the book in almost exactly the same way, in detail. Rowling's work, not Kloves'. She's a surprisingly good writer, especially good with twists and red herrings, which is why her books are beloved by young and old readers alike.

I haven't seen Shrek 2 yet, but Spider-Man 2 (there's a hyphen in there) was BRILLIANT! I'd still see HP3 again, though, if I had the chance. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD (which I hope will keep the same design as the last two, or my collection will be off).
