A 100 year old man who killed his wife out of mercy due to her failing health by going into her nursing home room at night and slitting her throat a judge today accepted his guilty plea to the reduced charge of man slaughter and gave him a 12 month rehabilitation order and called his murder an "act of love" this case brings up the wider issue of euthanasia as a whole what do you guys think of both this case and the issue of assisted suicides and mercy killings posted by the anomaly |
