 it's quite obvious why so many people put that as their answer here. It's so much easier to argue and defend their position that way. You can be skeptical about everything and say "BUT this depends on this, and this depends on this", and so on. (wink wink knn  ) posted by nocturnal_anonymous |

How is god's love? A very interesting question isn't it? I think it may be like all other love in the world, a double-edged sword and a saying/word used too often out of context. I think that if god can love, he must be able to hate, otheriwse there is no comparrison and therefore no real definition. But love is only a word and unimportant. The important part is the connection the word implies. Any deity who created a world with people and then abandonded it because of one mistake isn't very loving IMO, but hey, I'm not a fan of organised religion of any sort. And that is a stand most followers can't understand and don't accept either, especially good ol' christans.  posted by Zanna_Dawnwings |

If we gave you the verse, you would dissect it and say "no, but how do you know for sure this is what they're talking about?" and then ask for more proof. It's always going around in circles whenever we discuss things with you. posted by nocturnal_anonymous |
