 knn: Dolphin fantasy : Dolphins swim at the newly-established aquarium dubbed 'dolphin fantasy' at the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama They have a few similar cylindrical tunnels at the cincinnati, oh aquarium. I tried to do a detailed search a few weeks ago for the best aquariums/good aquarium pictures and came up very short. I mean the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California is one of the best I have been to but the images on their website are tiny and really don't impress at all. But being there is awesome. Anyone been to any other great aquariums? posted by volonteshiva |

Sea World in Orlando is pretty good; there's also a smaller one at Disneyworld called "The Living Seas" which is not very good. In January I went to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography aquarium in San Diego, which is incredible, especially this one room where they have a kelp forest (photo below). I've also been to the Seattle and Baltimore aquariums, and some smaller ones. Don't remember much about those. [CLICK HERE TO VIEW THIS PICTURE] posted by holy_of_holies |
