»Is Law Enforcement by-passing the legal meaning of the law?«


With the aid of utility companies many police investigations get around the need for a legal search warrant by entering upon a private property as a "part time meter reader" thus giving them preliminary access to certain properties that they would not otherwise legally have.
Do we want law enforcement authorities to be able to by-pass laws that were meant to protect us in our privacy and from being spied upon by Big Brother Government?
