That's typical of the Litigious nature of the U.S. which sadly is spreading across the globe. "MacDonalds made me fat so I'm gonna sue them" "You hurt me while I was robbing you so I'm gonna sue you" "I don't like what you're saying so I'm gonna sue you" "The instructions for the knife didn't say 'Don't stab people' so I'm going to sue the manufacturer 'cos I'm in jail now" Can't these people just grow up and take responsibility for their life without wanting to blame everyone else for it's outcome. posted by Marl64 |

...all start with idiots who got lung cancer suing tobaco companies? personaly i think if you smoke 60 a day and get cancer then tough shit, deal with your illness and hopefully you recover and live a cleaner life, don't go trying to make a buck from your own indulgence! posted by Crossfade |

That's a pretty young incident and it's not the whole story. The story is that McDonald's refused to lower the temperature for the coffee even after some complaints. They kept the temperature EXTRA hot, I think 96 degrees or so. posted by knn |
