didn't work

chose save as then jpg on the list but it didn't convert the file

ill try again tomorrow...im about to go to my kip and i don't want a picture of a motor bikers flat head...a drowned a bloated dead man...a severely burnt but alive man and an exceptionaly decomposed maggot ridden corpse filling my thoughts before i drift off

Why don't you do it with Irfanview ♣?

an old version Paint Shop Pro is awesome to do this.
It's Shareware, small, you can find it easily with Google.
It has a built in Batch Conversion Tool
which allows you to automatically
convert pictures into any format you want.
Simply click on File/Batch Conversion.
