Nope, this time not. Either or.

You have only 2 hours time and thus you can buy only 1 ticket.

Let's also assume, that both movies are "equally good", "eqally long", "equally well directed" etc... So: Which one would you choose?

What is your preferred type?

Oh, that's like choosing who you like more: your mom or your dad.

Impossible.

Like choosing between Lord of the rings and the Matrix.

Giant spider vs. Deus ex Machina

Exactly. If you could buy only 1 ticket for only 1 trilogy, would you choose the movie about the computer generated world/ sentinels/ agents or the movie with the rescueing trees/ frodo/ sword fights.

Well, since I consider my self more of a Lotr fan I am going to have to choose Fantasy.

But there are good sci movies that are also better then good fantasy movies so it's hard to say.

So, if I choose fantasy I am not voting for eiehrt fanatasy or Sci...i am voting for Matrix or Lotr.

Easy, I didn't really like LotR that much and the Matrix tril. is my fav.

Heres some other great sci-fis I'd also prefer to see -
2001 - A Space Oddysey
Soylent Green
Blade Runner
Star Wars Ep 5 and/or 6
Pitch Black
The One (would it count as Sci-Fi or Martial Arts or both?)
The Fifth Element
The Sixth Day
Total Recall

Can't think of any good fantasy films and LotR was only pseudo-good.

Stop that!

Stop that LotR vs. Matrix comparison. That was just an example!

I used it cus I couldn't think of any immediate fantasy films besides Legend and D & D (both utter shite.)
Dragon Heart was ul wight though ( the Connery one.)

What about Harry Potter vs. A.I.?

posted by knn

Ooooh, got me there cus I hated em both pretty badly... A.I had that BLOODY Alien scene at the end which just made me DESPISE the film so I'm going with Harry Potter cut it's got that actor that plays Snape.

What's some more Fantasty films though? I feel pretty limited in thinking of any at the moment.

There are a few mixed ones. Hulk, Star Wars, Star Trek...

I guess I'm just thinking of "Knights in Armor" kinda fantasy. But fantasy would be, I guess, anything with supernaturality.
So... Blade and Van Hellsing are obvious Fantasy.
