Well that not really a valid question as this decade (2000-2010) isnt over 1994-2004? The Verve -'Bitter sweet symphony' absolute glorious track. posted by Crossfade |

sadly the most awesome music that has been put out so far is almost exclusively retro style: 1. Helmet - Throwing Punches 2. Janes Addiction - Just Because 3. Freezeebee - Oh Yeah 4. The Hives - Hate To Say I Told You So 5. The Darkness - Love On The Rocks With No Ice (the whole album is awesome) 6. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Date With A Night 7. Jerry Cantrell - Castaway 8. Velvet Revolver - Slither 9. Queens Of The StoneAge - Song For The Dead (close but it's better than Go With The Flow and Hangin Tree) 10. The Vines - Outthataway posted by anonymyus |

1994- 2004 was the way I thought of it. The past 10 years. I can't believe that someone suggested the Verve. They've got only one good song (bittersweet symphony) and it could do with being about a third of the length - that violin playing gets so repetitive and boring! favourite song of the 70s - Jefferson Airplane - 'Somebody To Love' posted by fatpie42 |

@fatpie42 Ain't 'Somebody To Love' a song from the 60s? Since the early 70s the band was called 'Jefferson Starship'... I agree about 'Bittersweet Symphony'. This would normally be a good song but it's gotten so much radio airplay that it only gets on peoples nerves. If it's about 1994-2004, then my picks would be: Helmet - Wilma's Rainbow? Quicksand - East 3rd Street? Faith No More - Ashes To Ashes? The Amps - I Am Decided? greatest songs from the 70s: New York Dolls - 'Subway Train' and 'Human Being' Black Sabbath - 'Sweet Leaf' Iggy Pop&The Stooges - 'Cold Metal' and 'Raw Power' Led Zeppelin - 'Kashmir' and 'Houses Of The Holy' (note that their first album was from the 60s) posted by anonymyus |
