 with the new enterprise i can't get past the cheesy ass 80's power ballad theme song! ahhh who the fuck came up with that? it's not space exploration music! epic and moving! turned me off so much i never watched the show...now when it started..."space...the final frontier" that was a damn show! not this shit! i'm pissed!

Ah, so it is crap Star Trek, thank god. I've been told the originals are the best, I was just like "they don't get better? It must be shit." When I said GOOD Star Trek I meant Star Trek Enterprise or what ever it's called, the one people a majority of people like. I saw the Shatner one and a few episodes from the Newest one and they were both god-awful and the movies aren't either worth mentioning. posted by hungarian kid |

Shatner was an old captain (= before Jean Luc Picard). Actually if you'd ask me, most episodes are for kids (even the new ones).
›Babylon 5‹ is much more realistic. However, SOME of the episodes are good. posted by knn |

 knn: Actually the old TV episodes are only bearable by children OR if you watch it as "a science-fiction parody". The funny thing here is that back then, the networks opted for another sci-fi series which (they felt) portrayed a better vision of interstellar travel...
